HOWARD CORE COMPANY IS THE EXCLUSIVE US DISTRIBUTOR
OF KREMONA STRING INSTRUMENTS !!

Nestled between the vast Balkan and the Rodopi mountains of Bulgaria lies the majestic valley of Orpheus - mythological home to the Thracian father of songs and great poet of antiquity.

Maybe it is not by chance that Kremona has been there for years. Company master builders have been developing their stringed instruments to echo the harmonious beauty of this legendary wooden realm.

The course of Orpheus Valley Guitars and Kremona studio bowed instruments began in 1924, when a single luthier established the first known Bulgarian atelier for crafting stringed musical instruments. For over 85 years, Kremona has handcrafted violins and classical guitars for discerning musicians and instrument purveyors throughout Europe. Now, Kremona is proudly presenting the Orpheus Valley Guitars and the Kremona Studio bowed instruments to the whole musical world.

With a commitment to the finest available tone woods and workmanship, Kremona endeavors to ensure a compelling experience for guitarists and violinists at every stage of their musical journey.

The luthiers at Kremona studio reproduce models of Stradivari and other famous masters or make precise copies of old instruments keeping the genuine individuality of each instrument. The fine approach to detail, perfect varnish and precise selection of well-seasoned wood turns to be their winning formula.

The experience of the master Hristo Nikolov, who graduated from the Institute of Violin-Making in Cremona, Italy and the group of 15 luthiers at Kremona studio, as well as the heritage from the German violin school make for the individuality of our bowed instruments.

There is an old story that Stradivari and Amati used to buy their wood from the majestic Bulgarian Rodopi Mountains. Part of the secret of the Kremona studio instruments lies in the acoustic characteristics of the spruce and maple woods coming from the Bulgarian mountains.
